SC Cleared .NET Developer - Contract - 10 months - Andover

I am currently working with a consultancy who are looking for an SC Cleared .NET Developer to join a defence business in Andover.

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE WILL FALL OUTSIDE OF IR35.

You must hold current valid SC Clearance and you must be able to start and interview within 2 weeks.

Contract Length: 10 Months

Start Date: ASAP (2 weeks)

Day Rate: £350 per day Circa

Location: Andover

Essential Skills

5+ VB/ C#/ ASP.Net with Visual Studio 2012, 2013 & 2015 incl ASP.Net WebForms & MVC 5 // Web Services / AJAX / State Management / Web Farm Deployment).

5+ yrs experience in building Secure Web Applications including knowledge of how to mitigate common risks listed by OWASP

5+ yrs experience and demonstrable ability in Net Framework Versions (2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.5).

5+ yrs experience and demonstrable ability with .Net entity framework 3.5, 5 and 6.

5+ yrs experience and demonstrable ability in Dev Express ASP .NET suite.

5+ yrs experience and demonstrable ability in SQL Server 2008/20112/2014/2016 (Database Design / Normalisation / Indexing / Stored Procedures / T-SQL / Full Text Search/ Audit CDC/ Temporal Tables).

5+ yrs experience and demonstrable ability in SQL Server 2008 &2012 Reporting Services (including Report Builder v1).

5+ yrs experience and demonstrable ability in SQL Server 2008 &2012 Integration Services

4+ yrs, experience and demonstrable ability in building deployment packages using Windows Installer XML (WIX);and building ASP.Net web applications with SpreadSheet Gear excel integration component.

Experience and demonstrable ability in building deployment packages using IIS WebDeploy

3+ yrs experience and demonstrable ability with authentication and authorisation of web application and web services using federated identity and claims based authentication.

3+ experience and demonstrable ability building OData web services using ASP.Net Web API and WCF Data Services & building applications with Korzh EasyQuery components.

3+ yrs experience and demonstrable ability in building Single Page Applications using Durandal, Breeze, and Knockout.

3+ yrs, experience and demonstrable ability with UI frameworks such as JQuery UI and Kendo Web UI.

Proven experience of the of TFS across the full application lifecycle including Agile planning, Build, Test and Release Management

Experience with managing source control with Git/ TFS Git

Knowledge, experience and demonstrable ability with javascript and typescript.

An understanding of analysis / requirements capture using tools such as Enterprise Architect and Balsamiq

Desirable Skills

Knowledge, experience and demonstrable ability in test driven development (NUnit, XUnit Selenium and SpecFlow).

Knowledge, experience and demonstrable ability in DNS / Kerberos / SETSPN / Trusted Sub System Model.

Knowledge and experience in with continuous integration servers such as Jenkins/Hudson

Experience of building web applications with ASP.Net SignalR

Experience of using Unity IoC

Experience of using ASP.Net bundling and minification.

Experience of building ASP.Net applications with AppFabric Cache

Experience of building ASP.Net applications with Service Bus 1.1

Experience with FluentMigrator

Knowledge, experience and demonstrable ability in IIS 6,7 & 8 Application Pools / Web Farm.

Design and configure a Content Security Policy with Asp.Net web applications

Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to explain Microsoft .NET ideas and concept to non-technical managers.

Experience of preparing detailed development estimates; the capacity to work to deadlines, and to inform non-technical management of progress.
