Commissioning Engineer - Night Shifts

Hourly Rate Range: £30 to £39
Rosyth, Fife, Scotland
My client is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their night shift team. The successful candidate will work 4 night shifts per week Monday to Thursday from 7pm until 7am.
Role description/ task
Testing and commissioning of PLC and drive systems
Fault finding and remedial work
Implementation of site modifications (software and hardware)
Interface of control systems
Liaison with customer at all levels
Required experience/ qualifications/ attributes
Experience of commissioning, maintaining and fault finding of PLC and drive based control systems
Excellent knowledge of onsite electrical installation, cabling and safety
Good knowledge and understanding of PLC and safety system architectures and software for plant control
Good knowledge of PWM variable speed drive technology
Understanding of HMI and/or SCADA applications for plant control
Understanding of network and industrial communication protocols
Experience of GE Fanuc PLCs and control techniques, VDSs preferable
