Java Developer / Lead Java Software Engineer (Agile Linux Semantic Web). Market leading software house is seeking a talented Lead Java Developer to develop Network Functions Virtualisation and Software Defined Networking solutions. This pioneering semantic modelling application allows large data intensive organisations such as telcos to see, search, analyse and manage data regardless of storage medium in a whole new way.

As a Lead Java Developer you will become a key member of the engineering team, building multi-threaded concurrent systems that process vast quantities of data using Triple Store RDF databases. You will take architectural ownership for the main data transformation infrastructure, as well as the interfaces to an open source framework used for querying and analysing the RDF triple store data.

The technology-focused company based in Central London is constantly seeking to innovate and you will be working on concepts and projects that are yet to be implemented or realised in the world today.

Requirements:

*Indepth knowledge of core Java (Java 7 or higher) with excellent OO Design skills and architectural experience

*Team lead experience

*Experience of using Agile methodologies in an enterprise scale environment

*Comfortable developing in a primarily Linux environment with tooling based around Eclipse, Subversion, JUnit, Ant

*Excellent academic record, having achieved a 2.1 or above with good A-Levels

*Desirable: semantic modelling (OWL, RDF(S), RDF, SPARQL)
