Production technician (Electrical Assembly)

£23000 -£28000 + Overtime + Days based role + 30 days holiday

Do you have experience crimping, wiring, soldiering within an electrical assembly or similar role?

Are you looking for a varied and challenging role with ambitious and expanding engineering company?

This company area a world leading SME based in Wellington, Somerset. They design and develop computer controlled test solutions for the global aerospace and defence industry, as well as Rail, Oil and gas and other high tech industries.

Continued expansion has created an opportunity for a Production Engineer for kitting and testing of assemblies, which includes soldering components on PCB's.

The ability to read schematic drawings is also required. Experience in an electrical assembly environment is required. Experience of 2-D an advantage.

The role:

*Assembling special purpose machinery.

*Wiring, crimping and soldering.

*Electrical assembly.

The person:

*Good crimping, Wiring and soldering skills- A trade test will be given during the interview process.

*Ability to read drawings.

*Experience in surface mount and soldiering small components.

*Experience in an electrical assembly.
