The successful applicant will have -

*Excellent knowledge and recent experience of SQL Server including database analysis and design, SQL development and application programming in a database environment.

*A thorough understanding of SQL procedures and triggers and have a recent experience of workflows.

*Knowledge and experience of enterprise level IT Identity Lifecycle Management

*A knowledge and understanding of directory technologies and best practice.

*Awareness with federated authentication and Identity management and provisioning, SAML, trust frameworks. The University uses Shibboleth extensively. ADFS is also in development

*Analyst Developer capable of investigating and documenting existing embedded application logic to support redevelopment.

*Be proficient in latest technologies supporting SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) detailing common API issues and opportunities

*Have recent experience in Workflow and Directory Services

*Contribute to overall architecture from previous experience

*Experience of Cloud integration, e.g. Azure, AWS, etc. desirable.

*Understand and provide insight into the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

*Describe processes through UML and Business Process diagrams

*Supporting decisions with design patterns

*Have a relevant qualification, e.g. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

*Provide examples, samples, and links where necessary

*Ideally have one or more personal or open source projects for consideration

*Show previous relevant technological experience of the problem domain, it is not an experimental position
