This role offers the opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team to contribute towards the successful future of Crown Pet Foods.

The role, reporting to the E-business Manager, will be based around successfully developing and progressing our online presence via websites and supporting other online activities.

This is an ideal role for a talented junior PHP developer looking to grow and develop within a successful company

DUTIES

   •  Initial development and integration of web redesign

   •  Ongoing development and progression of company websites

   •  Integration of web with other online activities

   •  Responsible for ensuring optimal visibility of websites via SEO

   •  Development and management of e-CRM activities including data capture via web-forms

   •  Working in conjunction with the E-marketer

   •  Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the Company web sites

Essential skills

   •  The successful candidate should have a proactive/creative approach to change and development in line with market requirements.

   •  The candidate should be competent in PHP and will be expected to work with a CMS engine typically creating templates

   •  The candidate should have a good understanding of SQL

   •  A good knowledge of XHTML and CSS is required

   •  An understanding and experience of SEO and successful ad-word campaigns will also be advantageous

   •  He/she should present themselves as a well organised individual who can work well under pressure and have a keen eye for detail

   •  An open minded individual, eager to learn and develop within the role

Beneficial skills

   •  Flash

   •  Basic knowledge of Javascript

   •  Knowledge of Photoshop or any similar software
