Our client based in Hertfordshire is looking with immediate effect for a Senior RF Contract Engineer. Skills required include: RF Design, Microwave Design, 3G, 4G, Wireless Comms exposure, Degree or equivalent in Engineering, RF CAD tools, debugging, diagnostic and measurement techniques, LTE, Transceiver design
Our client based in Hertfordshire is looking with immediate effect for a contract RF Engineer to work within the Engineering and Production teams developing wide-tuning RF transceivers for an initial 6 months.
Main duties and responsibilities to include:
* circuit and system level RF design to 6GHz
* overall system architecture analysis and specification
* analogue baseband circuit design
* delivery of highly integrated multilayer RF PCBs
* design validation and testing.
Requirements:
* candidates should have a good Degree or equivalent in Engineering
* experience of RF and microwave circuit design
* RF CAD tools, debugging, diagnostic and measurement techniques
* ability to understand system level issues involving interaction with digital hardware and control software.
Experience with the physical layer of 3G and 4G communication standards such as LTE is highly desirable, transceiver design covering broad frequency ranges would be advantageous.
