A leading telecoms business in London is looking for a Nortel Support Engineer responsible for providing engineering support both internally and externally, with specific responsibility for fault escalation and management to resolution, configuration, network management and technical Consultancy. The role is based in London and is paying £30,000 - £40,000 plus car allowance and bens.
Ideally you need experience of CS1000 & CC6 maintenance and you should be Nortel accredited, NCSS (Nortel Certified Support Specialist).
You will need a Full Driving Licence, and be mobile with your own transport.
You will be responsible for:
Provide both onsite and remote maintenance support for customer reported issues.
To provide expert technical knowledge within the organisation and ensure that definition / documentation is maintained to the highest levels.
Assist both Service management and account management with the response and presentation or new development opportunities.
To review and update operational documentation for new and existing products and update as necessary.
Fulfilment of Preventative maintenance and patching.
Assist Service Management with client meetings / monthly reviews as necessary
Provision / inputs to add-hock, weekly and monthly client reports.
Provide the main interface into Manufacturer for third / fourth level support
Part of 24x7x365 call out support structure (anticipated 1 wk in 4)
Support HD function with closure of open tickets against SLA.
