Systems Technician

This is a great opportunity to develop your IT network infrastructure experience. You’ll be part of a team of just three, supporting the personal accident business at Aviva, the UK’s largest insurer. We use a bespoke Delphi system right now. But it’s being re-written in C#.Net4.0. And, as well as providing support for the team, you’ll play a vital role in making sure it’s smoothly implemented and managed.
In practice, you’ll make sure our network and processes are as robust and effective as can be, and keep all the proper documentation up-to-date. There’ll be some software development, too. So, aside from impressive Windows Server 2003/ 8 and VMWare experience, we’ll be looking for Microsoft Networking, VB Scripting, and SQL Server 2005 on your CV. SQL Scripting would be even better.
