Cornerstone is a contractual joint venture between the country痴 biggest telecom brands, O2 and Vodafone. Together we are sharing mobile sites around the country, maximising coverage and generating financial efficiencies for customers and parent companies alike.
As National Radio Manager you値l focus on best practice across all our regional Radio Design & Planning teams who are responsible for activities such as coverage planning, capacity planning and initial optimisation. You値l have your own projects to handle too, such as sector upgrade programmes, portfolio assessments, rollout planning and microcell solutions. When you池e not busy with those, you値l be a pivotal contact between Optimisation teams in O2 and Vodafone teams leading or facilitating discussions around subjects like radio guidelines, policy and strategy which will require excellent matrix management skills. Your efforts will be crucial to the success of Cornerstone.
With a degree (or equivalent) and industry experience, you値l have significant experience of radio and radio principles; GSM and UMTS technologies; cellular radio planning and optimisation techniques; and end-to-end network deployment processes. You値l also have the commercial acumen to understand business drivers, plus the communication skills to influence stakeholders and get the very best from your team. Able to think innovatively yet pragmatically, you値l be a natural leader and problem solver.
