My client is an industry leader in way of Mehcanical, Electrical & Sustainable design engineering. They specialise in sectors such as commercial, retail, education, healthcare, residential and they have recently entered into the Rail industry having secured a number of projects providing station referbs to name a few.
They have an immediate requirement for an experienced electrical design engineer to join the team who has solid design experience in general building services projects noted above and who has experience of working on rail projects... excellent opportunity with immediate start available for the succesfull candidate.
Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services Design Consultant.
I have an immediate opportunity for a skilled experienced electrical design engineer who has solid building services design experience covering sectors such as commercial education healthcare and residential projects BUT ALSO has experience working on RAIL projects as a electrical design consultant. Typical projects will be Station Referbishments so understanding of the regulation / health & safety aspects to this project sector is vital to this position......
My client is a UK renowned M&E Design consultancy that have secured a very strong pipeline of projects taking them throught to 2012. As a result they are also in a position to develop sectors of the group including the rail team within the business.
The ideal candidate will understand all aspects of rail project covering everything from site works health and safety aspects and regulations that need to obided bye when provided detailed electrical design in this line of works.
I am not looking for an expert in Rail projects just a solid understanding of what is involved. Someone with just a small amount of exposure to rail projects will be considered even if it is just a couple of station referbs you have under your belt or a short stint working for a Rail Led engineering company.
Most of the work this candidate will be involved in will be within the following secotrs
Education
Healthcare
Residential
Commercial
My client is looking to build the strength of the rail team and will filter works in this sector gradually through to the ideal candidate as and when it is ready so if you are from a purely Rail engineering background this will not be the role for you....
A certain amount of business development will be required with client liaison and design meeting etc
As a result the candidat will need to degree qualified in a relevent engineering discipline and will also be someone who is either on the path to become a chartered engineer or have already acheived such status.
Salary will vary dependant on experience & this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join a solid established and boyount design engineering consultancy that offer internal training programmes and all the support you would require to chase memeberships and accreditations.
They will also look for this person to work there way up through the ranks and will support them in the person career and development
