IT Manager / Database Manager / Development Manager - North Yorkshire or London
IT Manager / Database Manager / Development Manager - North Yorkshire or London required for a leading retail organisation. The purpose of this role is to provide development and data services from the companies data centre, involving data collation, manipulation, interpretation and production, to identify and analyse emerging trends, behaviours and business improvements. To develop and maintain IT operational KPI's, report and communicate across a variety of business units and manage a team of people responsible for the provision of internal and external data and Group IT services.
Working closely with departments in the merchandising and buyer departments the successful IT Manager / Database Manager / Development Manager will remain hand on to develop real time reports and offer support to the business through the provision of IT services. Reporting directly to the IT Director the successful IT Manager / Database Manager / Development Manager will have the drive and hunger to progress to one day become the IT director.
This role will require travel from sites in London and North Yorkshire.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
- Worked within Retail environment
- BT Expedite solutions
- SQL
- BI Reporting
- Visual Basic, Perl
- Oracle and SQL
- Exp of managing and supporting the IT team
- Drive forward training and development
- Experience of disaster recover plans for IT
- Stakeholder management and managing 3rd party suppliers
- Able to build and maintain credible relationships with senior managers
Desirable Skills / Experience:
- Mercatus
- ITIL
