Business Analyst, Credit Risk. Prince 2, Counterparty, Project Lifecycle, SQL Skills, Oracle Experience.

A Business Analyst is required for a Global Top Tier Investment Bank. The Business Analyst will work closely with both the Risk IT department and the reporting teams within the Risk measurement to ensure the business requirements are delivered and are correctly aligned to department priorities. The Business Analyst role will be focussed on the strategic requirements of the Credit Risk Reporting team. This team is divided into 2 different areas, the Counterparty and National Risk Reporting teams.

The main responsibilities of this role are:
- Perform Business Analysis
- Drive Working Group meetings
- Maintain internal plans
- Monitor project progress
- Track progress through metrics
- Liaise with various Risk IT stakeholders to solve issues and mitigate risks
- Record and manage testing
- Utilise standards, architectures, and processes to ensure that all code and development practices conform to company guidelines and industry best practices
- Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle, following stringent rules and procedures for testing and promoting code in compliance with company change control processes

The key skills required for this position are:
- 2-3 years project management (preferably using Prince2)
- 5-7 years business analysis
- Business re-engineering experience
- Risk experience across Credit Risk
- Record and manage testing
- Experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle
- Excellent organisational, problem solving, and written/ verbal communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Track record of taking ownership of tasks and issues and managing them through to completion
- A solid understanding of standard change control policies and procedures and experience working in an IT environment with rigorous change control procedures

The following skills are considered highly desirable:
- Data Warehousing experience that demonstrates strong analytical skills
- Business Objects universe and report development

Preferred Qualifications:
- Business Objects XI R2 or R3 WebIntelligence module, preferably also Designer module
- Oracle 10g / 11
- Strong SQL Skills
- Quality Centre (Test Director) tool

Investment Bank experience is desirable.
