I require a Systems Analyst for an excellent contract opportunity with a financial software company in central London.
My client provides real-time pricing and aggregation services to the derivatives market - they are currently building their next generation of systems from scratch.
Suitable candidates will have extensive experience of analysing and capturing technical requirements within a structured & complex software development environment. In particular you will have captured / defined requirements for high performance desktop and excel applications as well as complex enterprise systems.
Required skills & experience:
-Technical requirements gathering, analysis and management gained in a complex software environment
-Familiarity with requirements management tools
-Ability to create and capture user interface wire-frames
-Understanding of analysis and design using UML
-Familiarity with SQL and databases
-Expertise in development / requirement methodologies (RUP, Waterfall, Agile, P2)
-Ability to perform software product evaluation / gap analysis
As you will be working in a complex / high transactional software environment with multi-tiered systems previous experience of similar environments is necessary.
