Lead Solutions Engineer / Consultant, Voice Networks. Due to continued global expansion, my client, a global bank, have a new opening for a Lead Engineer within their Voice Network team with an onus on solutions development and driving through of service improvments in the support of the voice network infrastructure.
Primary remit:
Design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of technical voice solutions and voice team processes, controls and service levels for managing global core voice infrastructure. Management of changes to ensure quality delivery within defined service levels and maintain the stability of production environment. Represent Global Networks at technical and / or leadership meetings with stakeholders from wider technology or business organisation. Technical Leadership and accountability for technologies and / or controls within voice support team (circa 5 heads).
High end support and resolution of events, Incidents, Problems and complex changes within the voice network estate including: High priority Incident diagnosis. Problem Management Root Cause Analysis and identification of options for permanent fixes.
Person Specification : You will have experience of managing voice network infrastructures within large, complex, perhaps global environments. You wil be able to point to a record of developing and delivering voice solutions and service improvments. ITIL qualified / aware would be useful. Technically you will have a solid Voice background encompassing technolgies including Nortel Meridian, Symposium, large Nortel contact centres, CTI, MPS, CCT, NCC Call Pilot, Verint & Nice Voice Recording, PSTN Services, Featurenet 1000/ 5000, Eclipse Call Management, VoIP based technologies, H.323, Codec's, IP Trunking. You will also have some awareness of Cisco based LAN/ WAN routers and switches.
