Siemens RNC Engineer needed, 3 months extendable, Africa
My client is currently looking for an experienced ex-Siemens RNC engineer to start as soon as possible.
To be successful for the role you will need to be meet the following criteria:
Expert knowledge on exSiemens RNC and NodeB on software level UMR6.5
Ability to use Resolve Tool with understanding of the end to end Customer care process
Able to troubleshoot complex network problems
Able to collect and analyse traces using K15 and NSA Tool
Able to localise trouble areas on network - NodeB, RNC, Core, SGSN
Good understanding of call flows
Understanding and experience with ATM switches.
Tasks will include:
Handling tickets on Resolve
Interacting with Network Planning and Optimisation team in the pursuit of good KPI's
Travelling to site to collect K15 traces
Interrogating and monitor UTRAN network using RAS
Assist with SW upgrades/ updates if and when required.
Execute network/ database changes using chg-ofd command/ procedure.
Provide feedback to Care Program Manager, Technical Manager.
