My Key client, based in London is currently looking for an Integration Consultant to join their head office.
The successful consultant will have:
* Demonstrated project management and strong application integration and business analysis skills (required)
* Understanding of the Institutional Trade Flow and Trade Processing business e.g. STP and current securities industry initiatives (highly desirable)
* Experience with similar business/ application messaging systems and protocols (e.g. FIX, SWIFT) (highly desirable)
* Experience working for a vendor with strong external client facing capacity (highly desirable)
* Experience in the Financial Services industry (desirable)
Functional Skills/ Knowledge (All Essential)
* Ability to interpret customer needs and translate them into defined business requirements
* Must have extensive client facing experience with proven ability to effectively manage client expectations and concerns
* Ability to communicate information/ issues clearly and succinctly to technical/ non-technical colleagues and clients
* Demonstrated problem-solving capability and analytical skills
* Familiarity with on-line training and presentation platforms e.g. WebEx
Other
* Fluent (written and verbal) in a 2nd European language (Italian, Spanish, German, French) a plus
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
* Must be self-motivated and willing to expand skills and knowledge
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Basic UNIX and Windows technical skills desirable
* Proficient with MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
