Engineering Manager - Plumbing and Gas Services

£35,000 - £45,000 Plus Potential Profit-Related Bonus Opportunities, Company Vehicle
As an established building maintenance contractor, our client offers an impressive range of services, ideal for both internal and external refurbishment projects. The company carries out a complete range of decorating, building and repair work, together with extensive renovations, environmental upgrade and refurbishment projects. An opportunity has now arisen for an Engineering Manager to join their team.
As the Engineering Manager you will be tasked with helping to manage and grow the company's existing Mechanical & Electrical and Solar Heating division within the group.
Drawing on your management experience gained within the plumbing and gas sectors, you will be responsible for managing the operation that has ambitious expansion plans.
And rather than carrying out engineering duties yourself, you will be required to prepare quotes, manage all plumbing, gas and solar operatives, and help develop the division and its systems. Some travel to the company's sites will be required.
To be considered for this position, you must have management experience gained within both the plumbing and gas services. This should include a track record of leading engineering teams, and strong knowledge of plumbing and gas works.
The ideal Engineering Manager will also have experience in the renewable energy sector.
