SAP FICO Functional Lead Consultant
My client is a global SAP partner providing innovative and differentiated service offerings to both new
SAP customers and the SAP installed base. Their SAP service offerings fall into three broad categories:
1. Business Consulting & Transformation (strategy).
2. Value Enhancement Services (project execution).
3. Service Delivery (application management).
My client has a unique 360 degree relationship with SAP. They are an SAP Services Partner and an
SAP Education Partner. We have board level relationship which ensures common direction and
understanding. Additionally, they have a strong relationship with SAP Labs, where we develop and
test the next generation of SAP components, including:
1. NetWeaver
2. All 28 Industry Solutions
3. CRM and CRM On Demand
4. Transportation Management
5. ERP (including Finance and HR)
6. SRM
Our relationship with SAP Labs provides them with unique insight into the next generation of SAP
products which tehy are able to bring to bear at our customers through their SAP centre.
In the UK, their SAP practice focuses on a number of key vertical markets:
1. Energy & Utilities
2. Life Sciences
3. Consumer Goods & Retail
4. Banking & Financial Services
Key Competencies :-
* Understand how SAP Finance applications interface with other finance systems / applications
* Strong relationship / stakeholder management skills
* Ability to influence decision making
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge
* Excellent functional knowledge around SAP FI/ CO
* Previous experience of working as SAP Finance Analyst / Architect.
* Good knowledge on Finance Domain prior to moving on to SAP & understand UK financial processes
* Very strong communication skills, (written, verbal & presentation) to all levels executive teams, business managers, users and support teams
Experience:-
* Delivery of 4+ SAP Finance implementation projects integrating with multiple legacy applications in a complex environment
* Extensive experience in SAP FI/ CO around latest versions
* Working experience with the UK SAP Retail Large Enterprise customers, relationships within these customers and / or knowledge
* of their Finance systems.
* Experience / exposure to the Global (on-site / off-shore) delivery model
