High growth and profitable B2B online publishing company requires lead developer/ website manager to take on responsibility for the administration and all ongoing development of our drupal website.
Your role will be to translate the commercial objectives of the business into a coherent online strategy. You will be part of the management team of 4 reporting to the MD.
In addition to the ongoing management of the site we have a number of significant development and design projects we wish to run in 2010 to enhance the already powerful functionality we provide for clients.
This is a ‘hands on’ development role, however; budget is available to work with offshore or external drupal developers/ designers as and when required.
Skills
You will be a highly experienced developer with a minimum of 5 years web management and development experience. You will be very familiar with Drupal and related modules and functionality and have experience with designing and implementing integrated content and client support solutions.
Competencies
The candidate will be commercially driven and innovative with ability to function in a collaborative environment and have excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills.
Technical knowledge
Drupal 6 and porting modules from 5 to 6.
Drupal API
CCK / Views integration
Themes / php template
Drupal module development & customization
eCommerce
Video player and CMS integration
Migrating databases
Overseeing Hosting Issues
Email setup and management
Drupal Development - modifying existing content and creating new
