Our client is a highly-focused marketing and editorial design company, specialising in internal communications. The business is already making real headway in the delivery of electronic and digital publications which enable businesses such as Proctor & Gamble, Asda and Boots to connect and engage with their staff. Now looking to move further into the digital communications market, they seek to recruit a WSS Developer / Implementation Consultant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is hungry for more knowledge, business and responsibility, to join a fast-moving company at a time of real growth, in a groundbreaking role with real potential.
As a WSS Developer / Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for building, delivering and maintaining most of the company's solutions, and assisting client to specify internal digital communications solutions.
Working with an existing team, you will work with clients to help specify internal digital communications solutions that will meet their overall communications objectives. You will then work alongside designers, project managers and editorial staff to deliver these solutions using your expertise in Flash, WSS and SharePoint.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- a very good understanding of WSS (Windows SharePoint Services)
- knowledge of Visual Studio 2008
- some knowledge of Flash and image optimisation
- a degree (or equivalent)
As a WSS Developer / Implementation Consultant, you will be expected to think on your feet, actively assist the business grow, and be eager to develop your WSS skills.
