Digital Electronics Targeting Systems Engineer Reading. Recognised internationally as a leading engineering company our client seeks a 3 Systems Engineers. You will be working on the latest state of the art lazer targeting systems. The systems are designed and developed in Reading and put togeather using devices from other suppliers. Buzz words include Latitude, Longitide, Altitude, Navigation, GPRS, Signal Processing, Digital Electronics, Systems Engineer mindset, electrical cables.
Main technical Skills:
The targeting systems engineer shall be able to provide support to all tasks throughout a typical Systems Engineering lifecycle:
* Requirements capture
* Preparation of specifications and ICD's
* Design of System / sub-system
* Preparation of Verification documentation
* Performing systems verification
The targeting Systems Engineer may be able to
* Understand / design basic electrical circuitry
* Understand / design basic mechanical pieces
* Design cables
* Creat / change Bill of Materials
* Provide support and Security Ananlysis
* Understand & organise Environmental Qualification tests
- You will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent in a system engineering discipline.
- Computer literate and familiar with using normal business and engineering software applications packages
- Will ideally have previous industry experience in the design, development and fielding of military equipment.
- Knowledge in GPS, RTK, Antenna, analog and digital electronics engineering
- Knowledge of the following domains: electrical, mechanical, environmental qualification, safety & security and production.
