My client a leading Telecoms Partner in Belgium has an urgent new opportunity for a highly experienced FRENCH or DUTCH Network Architect for a long term contract based in Belgium.

Network Architect
As a staff member of the service "Technical Services Network" within the department "Technical Services " he/ she is responsible for the Network part of projects .This also includes working together with Project Manager and Solution Design Authority, creating detailed designs, implementing, documenting and handing over to the Operation Support department. The first projects will be small one in order to understand the environment.
DIMENSIONS / CONTEXT / DEDICATION
* System Configuration & Tuning of Network environments
* System implementation of Network environments
* Creation of procedures and documentation
* Handover sessions to the Operations Support team
* Working closely together with the Project Manager
* Level 3 support for Network
* Consultancy & Feedback towards Operation Support

PROFILE
Technical prerequisites
Mandatory knowledge and experience in following areas:
* Checkpoint firewalls
* PIX Firewalls + FWSM
* DWDM
* Cisco Loadbalancing Services (CSS, ACE & CSM)
* TCP/ IP, DNS, …
* CCNP level knowledge
* Cisco 6500
* All routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, …)
* VRF-lite
* Ciscoworks
* Network Analyzing tools
Languages
* Minimum one of the two national languages French or Dutch.
* Good Knowledge of English
Essential behavioural features
* Experience in the technical areas mentioned
* Knowledge of ITIL Processes is an asset
* Proficiency with documentation
* Communication skills
* Stress resistant
* Customer driven
* Strong analytical skills
* Team player
* Open to change
* Flexibility in working hours / standby.
