Technical Support (Scotland)
Our large corporate client requires an experienced contractor to join their IT Support Team the IT environment consists of Unix, Linux and Windows Operating systems together with SAN Storage and VM Ware. You will be involved in providing hands on technical implementation and support (including troubleshooting) of VMWare, Unix/ Linux & Windows Infrastructures. Utililising Service management tools to track incidents and problems Liaising with internal Project managers and customers, and also external support so someone with face to face and telephone communcation skills is a must.
It is essential that suitable candidates only apply should they have extensive experience of VMWare, Linux and Unix and been involved in the implementation and support of these Products.
Overall Skills used : Linux, Unix, VM Ware, AIX 4.3 to 5.3, Window, Citrix, NetApp, Cisco, ESX, Vmotion, SRM, Brocade Switches, RDBMS.
This position is for initially 3 months and will be based in Livingstone.
