An exciting opportunity has arisen for a client facing Senior Project Manager to join a large IT Services Company, based in Nottingham.
The successful Project Manager will work within a Project Management capability delivering a number of external projects for a variety of clients UK wide. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of applications development / system integration projects; liaising with Senior stakeholders, managing project budgets of up to £2m and matrix teams of up to 30 people. Responsibilities include;
- Pre-sales, bid management and business case development
- End-to-end Project Management (planning, risk and issue management, delivery)
- Working to formal project methodology
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following;
- Strong client facing skills
- Vast experience of delivering applications projects (systems integration, bespoke development, migration etc) with budgets circa £2m and project teams of up to 30 people
- Financial management experience
- Matrix management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Third party management skills
- Project Management qualification (Prince 2 or equivalent)
- Flexibility to travel
