Our client, a government specialist consultancy is seeking a SC/ DV Security Cleared Security consultant for an ongoing contract in Reading, berkshire.
Owing to the immediacy of this contract you must hold valid SC or DV security clearance.
You will be responsible for:
-Effective management and leadership of team activities
- Liasion and support for all internal business units on security issues through implementation, Service Management and site release. Authorise the release of sites into the Live environment and support delivery by providing updates/ information as directed
- Liaison with other units (acting as primary POC) to include support for implementation, Service Management etc. on security issues aiming to support all internal business units by recording and tracking the status of a site throughout the release process.
-Liaison with the client on security issues related to all aspects of site release when required.
-Authorise the release of sites into the Live environment using powers delegated by the client.
-Support delivery by providing updates/ information as directed for use in the daily update calls. -Support governance by providing representation and updates to the Implementation Security Working Group.
-Collate and undertake QA on all documentation submitted to support the process providing feedback to the originator and collating lessons.
-Raise and track to resolution any issues found at site (or as a consequence of Penetration Testing) using accepted internal mechanisms/ processes.
-Remain aware of ongoing development programs/ capabilities and provide advice and guidance on implementation security issues and process to other work streams, ensuring that these are fully documented and disseminated across the internal business units and Client.
-Develop processes to allow the release of new major functionality releases into the live environment and modify existing processes to cater for developing/ emerging methods of working.
-Ensure that the relevant processes are communicated effectively across all interested parties; this must include guidelines and a mechanism for dealing with escalation.
-Assist in preparing for the provision of future business.
