We are a leading business publisher based in London’s West End seeking an experienced .Net developer. This is an excellent developer opportunity with superb benefits.
The ideal candidate will have proven in-depth knowledge and at least 3 years experience of developing windows desktop and web applications with .Net and SQL Server.
The role will involve development and maintenance of existing and new in-house IT systems including migrating systems from Visual Foxpro to .Net
The candidate should be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of: Visual Studio .Net, Visual Foxpro 6-9, ODBC connectivity, Office 97 - 2007 and VBA , SQL Server and mySQL.
You will be involved with all stages of the software development lifecycle - including requirements capture / analysis through to testing and delivery / implementation.
You must be a team player and have the ability to use your initiative. You will be confident, forward thinking and someone who is able to adhere to tight deadlines and project time scales.
If you are BSc graduate in a relevant field or Microsoft Certified (MCP) seeking a varied role in publishing and database systems then this is a great move for you.
