Senior Performance Analyst
Business Link in London provides quality information and practical advice to help London's SMEs address their business challenges and take up business support from third party providers. We are seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to assist and develop the provision of the Management Information service both internally and to stakeholders. As a senior member of the Business Performance and Planning Team, you will help deliver contractual and operations reporting, data mining & trend analysis, and provide specific forecasts (both Company wide & channel specific) using historic modelling and planned activity. The Business Planning & Performance Team has seven staff, with two primary functions; Data Quality and Reporting. This role will be based at our London Office (SE1) with occasional travel required to other offices.
Role Responsibilities:
* Producing in a timely and accurate manner all stakeholder performance reports including BIS, LDA and Serco.
* Ensure there is a commonly understood definition of MI elements & metrics.
* Maintain & communicate appropriate data compliance & standard procedures for users & BLIL colleagues, providing support where necessary.
* Perform continual data and information auditing to identify opportunities for improving performance via all reporting channels
* Provide support for the ongoing development and customisation of the Lagan CRM system, data warehouse and reporting universe via the Lagan Change Board and perform User Acceptance Testing as required.
* To deputise for Business Planning & Performance Manager in all aspects of the role and support Director and Senior Management Team as required.
* Demonstrate commitment to upholding & representing BLIL's diversity, equal opportunity & inclusion policies/ agenda in all business & client dealings.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience of using CRMs and associated reporting tools, information management & Business Intelligence products (preferably Business Objects) in a business environment;
* Ability to use MS Access & MS Excel to an advanced standard;
* A proven track record in data manipulation and performance reporting;
* Team Leadership experience (preferential but not essential).
* Ability to analyse & interpret information from a number of sources & report on findings accurately.
* Use of reporting tools & techniques, utilising MS Access, MS Excel and Business Objects Report Writer (Infoview) or other database query and reporting tools.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to influence & negotiate effectively
