SOLUTIONS DESIGNER / BUSINESS ANALYST - LONDON
Senior Solutions Designer / Business Analyst is needed to join one of the UKs fastest growing technical consultancies that possess an enviable client list and industry recognition which extends from GC Awards for Innovation to Computing Awards for Excellence.
Joining a fast growing, exciting business our client is a Microsoft Gold Partner who work at the forefront of the IT industry. Working extensively with the deployment of large scale Microsoft technologies (Web 2.0, SOA and OLAP) the Solutions Designer / Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in designing innovative user centric solutions to technical and business problems.
Reporting to the Head of Solutions Design you will work closely with external clients and internal teams analysing complex business problems across different industries and functions. This position offers a diverse and varied environment where projects can vary a great deal, both in size and client, across the public and private sectors. In more detail you will:
• Translate business requirements into design specifications following an agile methodology.
• Act as an interface between the client and the project team, maintaining a high level of user engagement throughout the project life cycle.
• Design highly useable solutions, using wireframes, storyboards and paper prototypes.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate wireframes into highly desirable user interfaces.
• Adopt Web 2.0 techniques to define compelling and innovative user experiences.
• Be an active and influential member of the SCRUM team.
• Provide knowledge and expertise in a pre-sales capacity on software solutions.
• Define business, user and system requirements for projects through interviews, workshops, enquiries etc.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with prior experience in IT and proven success in documenting and thoroughly understanding complex business requirements. You will also need to be technically adept with demonstrable experience of Microsoft web and reporting technologies in large scale deployments.
Ultimately we are seeking a strong Solutions Designer / Business Analyst with impeccable communication skills, a can-do attitude and a passion for the IT industry.
