IT Sales Account Manager / Sales Executive – Nordic/ Scandinavian Region (Memory Products)
North West London NW10
£21,000 Basic £35,000 Uncapped OTE (neg DOE)
Our client is a global manufacturer of memory cards, USB sticks and computer memory. Heralded as the preferred supplier to many of the top names in the IT industry, they have an enviable portfolio of customers featuring well known names. Due to further European expansion, they are now looking to recruit an IT Sales Account Manager / Sales Executive with knowledge of the Nordic/ Scandinavian region, to join their London office.
Joining a vibrant team, in this role you'll be tasked with selling and promoting the company's products into the IT/ VAR/ SI, consumer electronics, mobile phone, photographic distribution channels and retail sector in the Nordic/ Scandinavian region.
The company is one of the strongest European companies in the flash memory and DRAM sector – making this the ideal opportunity to develop your career with an industry leader.
As an IT Sales Account Manager / Sales Executive your main duties will include:
- Developing a comprehensive distribution and retail strategy in the Nordic region
- Acquiring and managing new accounts
- Attending and contributing to sales meetings
- When required, participating in trade shows and travelling to client sites
To be considered for this position you must have previous commercial sales experience gained within a technical environment (selling IT products, mobile phones, consumer electronics or similar). Knowledge of the Nordic/ Scandinavian region is also essential.
As an IT Sales Account Manager / Sales Executive you should also have a good command of English, an excellent level of PC literacy, and the ability to work in a team. You should also be a confident presenter with good negotiation skills.
Fluency in Nordic languages would be beneficial, but is not essential.
