Senior Network Engineer, Infrastructure Managers, Presales, Project Managers, IT Managers, Cisco... we are a leading Telecommunications company are looking for an IT Manager on a 12 month rolling contract basis to carrying out work in Angola, you will need minimal supervision, provide high level technical support to the companies customers. Your responsibilities will to formulate, develop and implement integrated network architectures for the companies inhouse systems.
Provides planning, leadership, direction and advanced technical expertise for my clients network services. You will serve as high level technical expert in regards to network systems and associated issues. Installs, configures and maintains network devices as appropriate and provides on-call support as required.
Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging state of the art network systems and technologies, architectures and products. Provides job management in the implementation, installation, configuration and technical support of network architecture with other company departments and external organisations.
Develop other team members through coaching and mentoring. You are required to speak fluent English and Portuguese, have the ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects. Highly developed ability to install, develop and maintain networks and/ or related hardware and software. Ability to analyse and assess network architecture requirements and determine optimum, cost effective solutions. Advanced network systems planning skills. Knowledge of current technological developments/ trends in area of expertise. Advanced knowledge of network infrastructure requirements and standards. Advanced knowledge of network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques.
Well developed ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and a proven ability to work effectively in a diverse global community. Advanced working knowledge of Cisco networking systems including routers, switches, quality of service, voice and security solutions. Working knowledge of protocols including, but not limited to Voip TCP, IP, ICMP, MPLS, OSPF and BGP.
