SQL Server 2008 Developer – Staffordshire – Market Rate – 3 - 6 month initial role
Computer People have an exciting opportunity for a SQL Server 2008 Developer within an Large organisation based in Staffordshire. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong SQL background and ideally be Microsoft certified.
The successful SQL Developer will have experience within the following areas:
•Solid Microsoft SQL Server Development (preferably Microsoft Certified) with strong experience in the following areas
•Transact SQL
•SQL Server Integration Services
•SQL Server Analysis Services
•SQL Server Reporting Services
•Report Builder 2
•Kimball Datawarehouse Methodologies
•SQL Server Performance Tuning
•SQL Server Implementation & Maintenance
•Experience of working alongside a development team utilising C#.
•Experience of working within a team of Developers.
•Good experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.
•Experience of Development in a Commercial Environment
•Ability to communicate across peers and with other areas of IS.
•Ability to Influence others to ensure the right technical solutions are adopted.
This established organisation is looking for a SQL Developer to develop, maintain and support Databases and Business Intelligence Solutions based upon the Microsoft SQL Server technical platform by contributing to the implementation of the companies Microsoft SQL Server and Business Intelligence Strategy with the utilisation of standard methodologies and Practices
