Based in the heart of Wiltshire my client is currently looking to recruit a Developer with the following skills:
•Oracle RDBMS 9i/ 10g, Oracle Workflow, PL/ SQL, Java, J2EE, JSP & Servlets, Java Script, CSS, HTML, XML,Struts,EJB’s, JDBC
•Oracle Certified Associate or
•Certified Sun Java Programmer
Together with proven experience in the following processes: -
•Departmental standards and processes (programming standards, design standards, testing standards, fault resolution processes, IDT standards, quality standards etc.)
•Software testing techniques used to plan and execute software tests of all application components (functional and non-functional) to verify that the software satisfies specified requirements and to detect errors.
Awareness of the following technologies/ processes is advantageous: -
•Linux/ Unix , Eclipse IDE, TOAD, Oracle Reports, OOA & OOD, Oracle Web & Application Server, Web Services
•Software testing tools used to automate or assist any part of the testing process
•Operating infrastructures
•The selection and application of information gathering methods, tools and techniques.
•Familiar with business characteristics including business strategy, business objectives, IT strategies.
•Methods and techniques for writing effective reports.
Database software which enables the user to create, populate and manipulate data structures (Oracle).
Methods and techniques for delivering effective presentations.
