GIS Technical Consultant – GIS / ESRI – South West
Several exciting opportunities have arisen for experienced Technical Consultants with GIS and System Integration to join dynamic, market leading consultancy within the Defence and Public Sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a solid commercial background in technical GIS or technical consultancy roles, working in a client facing environment to manage, drive and deliver projects and solutions to meet and exceed customer's requirements. You will have a proven technical background in GIS, Geospatial Geographic Information Solutions. You will have a solid understanding of GIS technologies and tool sets preferably, ERSI products such as ArcGIS, ArcObjects, ArcGIS Server etc. You will have technical experience of delivering GIS solutions, implementing, configuring and developing GIS products on customer sites. Development experience in technologies such as .Net, C#, VB etc would be beneficial as would experience any experience of system integration with technologies such as SharePoint, BizTalk, WebLogic etc would be a bonus.
Your technical and commercial experience will be coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills with proven customer facing experience and documentation skills.
