IT Security (Windows) Architect/ Analyst x5 North West, Cheshire, 50-65k + Excellent Benefits - My High profile Global Financial services Client seeks a highly experienced Windows Security Architect to be responsible in defining and implementing an effective framework for the management of Windows security. Key accountabilities: - You will be responsible for protecting against regulatory sanction, reputational and financial loss, and service failure. - You will assist in the development and implementation of operating models and organizational structures - You will assist in the development of policies, standards and architectures required to support the implementation of secure Windows systems and services at acceptable cost and risk - You will Influence major change programmes in the deployment and change of infrastructure and associated Microsoft technologies. - You will assist in the production of Windows security standards - As part of a project you will engage with existing strategic Windows security suppliers to the Company and industry leaders to understand and shape vendor technology strategies in respect to IT security solutions - Assist in the development of strategies for the application of Windows security - Support Sourcing & Vendor Management during negotiations - Assist in the development of Windows Security Governance policies, processes and frameworks in line with existing and/ or new regulatory requirements Essential requirements: - You must have gained extensive experience as a Windows Security Architect within a large, highly pressurized enterprise environment - Highly Experienced with Symantec AND Intrad - You would have been working as SME for these technologies for highly established clients - Be comfortable and experienced in security architecture and in development and implementation of operating models - Experienced in the development of Windows Security Governance policies, processes and frameworks - Comfortable supporting high-level Windows solution design work by Strategy/ Planning and Demand - Gained experience in the development of security assessment documents for major projects and in the development of methodology in independent security assessment (due diligence) - Knowledge in multiple information security technologies and their strengths and shortcomings - Extensive experience in securing information for cross-functional and Windows applications - Familiar with integration and implementation issues and their security implications As the ideal candidate you will be actively seeking a new career challenge with a Global Financial Services client.
