Web Developer / Interactive Designer / London / 6 Month initial Contract
My client is currently look for an experienced Web Developer to work on a 6 month initial contract based in London.

The Role:
Design
·Design graphics-based web / digital content of the highest standard in the form of stunning, accessible and efficient web pages and marketing assets (banners, buttons etc).
·Design dynamic, usable and visually exciting client-side User Interfaces and UI components using HTML, Ajax and Flash.
·Produce rich media, animation and motion graphics for new media consumption using video production, vector graphics, Flash and 3D modelling tools.
·Design navigation and information architecture that optimises the user-experience
Design HTML email content as directed by internal clients and the Digital Production Manager and liaise with the Digital assistant to ensure correct delivery.
·Design content to sit within social networks offering
Content Production
·Contribute to the internal workflow processes as instructed by the Digital Production Manager: primarily by liaising directly with internal clients from briefing to sign-off.
·Liaise with relevant internal personnel to source copy, photography, graphics, video and raw information.
·Engage with the internal briefing process by providing internal clients with expert web-consultancy.
·Take on small pieces of work allocated via the Internet helpdesk and submit for approval to the Digital Production Manager.
·Assist in the cultural adoption and implementation of the CMS by liaising with internal clients.
·Manage the delivery of discrete content sub-projects: negotiating brief, designing content/ UI, developing technology and securing sign-off.
·Ensure that all web content conforms to industry (W3C) guidelines.
Technology Implementation
·Develop web applications: covering programming/ scripting, application of web technologies such as developing and implementing Drupal 6 modules, Ajax, PHP, cookies, http & email, system administration, html, d/ b integration.
·Integrate bespoke web applications developed with rich client or traditional web-based UIs.
