A compelling opportunity has arisen for a talented Support Technician to join an Insurance firm in the City of London.
This role will be working as part of the team responsible for providing quality Desktop Support for 1st and 2nd line. You will be working with 100+ users both onsite and remotely. The firm have offices located in two other locations and on an ad-hoc basis you will be required to provide onsite support to the office in the South East of England.
The main duties of this role include; workstation support, hardware and software support, basic server housekeeping, assisting in the LAN/ WAN infrastructure, assisting with VOIP and many more.
To be successful in this position it is imperative that you will have commercial experience in support within the Insurance industry. You will also need to be experienced in XP, Office 2003, Windows 2003 Server and Exchange. It is desirable that you will have knowledge of windows mobile solutions and telecoms experience.
