As a young and rapidly expanding managed Internet Service Provider, our client delivers services and IT systems to SMEs throughout the UK. They are now looking to recruit a Helpdesk Engineer / IT Support Engineer to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity to learn valuable new skills and gain industry experience in a position with the potential to develop and expand with your capabilities. You'll also be trained on additional technologies, giving you a broader skill set and enabling you to move into a more field based consultative role.

As a Helpdesk Engineer / IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for supporting clients using the company's Internet services. Day to day, you'll be involved in a range of duties including client-facing helpdesk tasks, troubleshooting and remote support. Excellent training will be provided.

To be considered for this position you must have:

- Previous IT support or helpdesk experience
- Experience of supporting Internet connectivity services and products such as routers, email, DNS and web hosting

Experience in a helpdesk/ IT support role for a VAR (value added reseller) or ISP (Internet Service Provider) would be a distinct advantage to your application.

As a Helpdesk Engineer / IT Support Engineer you should also enjoy problem-solving and dealing with new people. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to help clients in professional and pleasant manner.
