The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join our experienced team of engineering professionals, supporting high profile customers across the nuclear and other high-technology sectors. Activities may include; provision of engineering design substantiation (EDS) expertise enabling our customers to deliver fit-for-purpose engineering projects; provision of specialist engineering support needed in the production of safety cases for new and existing plant, and helping to develop our engineering offering to our broad portfolio of customers.

Responsibilities
• Provision of engineering design substantiation (EDS) consultancy
• Development of engineering strategies and plans
• Provision of specialist technical support to safety cases
• Liaison with customers and regulators
• Participation in relevant workshops/ seminars
• Participation in EDS training and development
• Delivery to time, cost and quality, ensuring customer satisfaction

Essential Skills Requirements - Education and Experience
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate scientific or engineering discipline
• Experience of engineering design and/ or substantiation processes in the nuclear or other highly regulated high-technology industry. Not essential for graduate trainees.
• Full, clean UK Drivers Licence
• Security clearances will be required
