SQL Server C# .Net Developer. Emphasis on SQL Server develpment and migration, but must have C# .Net.
Aston Carter seeks an experienced SQL Server .Net expert for a contract role in Dublin.
Our client has a few database refactoring and migration projects planned so they are looking for a contractor with very strong Microsoft SQL Server knowledge. They seek to convert their DTS (Data Transformation Services) packages to SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) ones. The new team member may also help with the redesign of their internal content management system.
The required skills are the following:
•Very strong C# and T-SQL knowledge
•Good Microsoft SQL Server 2005 administration skills
•Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SSIS
•Experience with database fine tuning and query optimization
•Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and .Net 2.0
•Working with XML - strong XSLT and XPATH skills.
•Microsoft SQL Server 2000 DTS experience
Nice to have:
•Good Microsoft SQL Server 2008 administration skills
•Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 SSIS
•Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and .Net 3.5
•Experience using Team Foundation Server
