C++ Developer - c++ xml stl gui
My client are entering a period of extensive growth. They are a state-art, award winning software house based in the heart of London, with a fun, relaxed, modern environment to work in.
To join you'll need proven experience in designing and coding client-server applications and be able to blend creativity with solid delivery. This role is to join a team of 5 people. NOTE - We're also looking for a snr developer (50 - 60k).
Skills & Experience
Essential skills:
-Multiplatform design and development in C++ with some level of exposure to industry standard libraries such as STL, Boost and MFC.
-Experience with the XML family of technologies, primarily XPath 2.0, XSL Transformation and XML Schema.
-Deep knowledge of computer hardware and networking stacks.
-Client-server application design and development.
-Advanced OO design and data modelling skills.
-Able to convert complex requirements and abstract concepts into real software.
-Experience of the full software development lifecycle.
-Proactive, self motivated professional who takes pride in his/ her work.
Other skills of interest:
-Ruby and Java development experience including JNI and J2EE design patterns.
-.NET experience, specifically GUI development in C#.
-Technical design leadership experience.
-An interest in the Music Industry.
-Confident deploying and running systems on both Windows & Linux.
Required Experience:
-At least 2 years developing C++ applications for the mass consumer market
-At least 2 years working on client-server applications
-At least 1 years experience working with customers/ clients.
Personal Characteristics:
-Good communicator
-Self motivated
-Ability to learn quickly
-Interest in the music and media space.
