Java Developer
The detailed design, code and unit test of elements of the overall PND application.
•Working under the direction of a team leader in accordance with defined project processes and procedures.
The role will require:
•The ability to refine the high level designs in accordance with the functional requirements, develop detailed designs, produce and unit test code.
knowledge of UML and Unified Process (eg RUP, OpenUP), previous development experience.Recent Java development experience (J2EE)Java Portal & Portlet development Familiarity with UML and the Unified Process. MS-Office tools including Word, Excel, Visio.
Underlying technology skill requirements, must have design / development skills in one or more of the following:
•Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)Java, Enterprise Java Beans,Java Portal & Portlet development, RMI (Remote Method Invocation),SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), Strut (JSF) Java integration framework, BEA/ Aqualogic, Rational Software Modeller, Oracle, Sun Solaris (Unix-based, not Microsoft) Sun Identity / Access Management, Ilog JRules, FAST search engine, Initiate search engine.
