A Systems Engineer is needed to join a dynamic engineering team based in Bristol. This is a permanent position and an excellent opportunity to join one of the most successful engineering and Defence companies in the world. Our client offers an excellent opportunity for career development, together with a salary in the range of £30-36k plus full package.
You will need:
5 years plus experience in a Systems Engineering environment.
Knowledge of requirements capture and analysis (using DOORS)
Understanding key elements of system design
Understanding of managing communication systems
This role will involve the analysis of customer requirements for Communications Management Systems (CMS) software applications and production and maintenance of design documentation for tenders and product development. This will include customer liaison and identification of further product enhancements. It will be necessary to provide technical support to software engineers to ensure that the product is coded and tested in accordance with the design. The CMS is currently in operation with the British Army. Derivatives of the communication management system are being developed and support to these variants will be required. The applications are developed in a Microsoft Windows environment.
NB: Due to the nature of this work, we can only consider applications from candidate who are Security Cleared or eligible to gain security clearance.
