The Background
This innovative eLearning & Blended Learning technology organisation is currently seeking to recruit an eLearning Graphic Designer to be responsible for the interface design of the organisations range of e-learning products, to make sure they meet learning objectives and outcomes.
The Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Learning Producer, you will be required to define and document requirements and specifications for the development of learning materials, including:
Designing graphics, illustrations, animation, navigation and icons for new e-learning products, including adding new elements of interactive design to the existing content
Working with the eLearning Producers and suppliers of the e-learning programmes to ensure that developments are successfully completed to specification
Working collaboratively with partners and suppliers to jointly prepare design documents
Assisting in testing the functionality of developed web and e-learning products and supporting tools to ensure effective delivery
Assisting in the development of new web and e-learning products, including adding new elements of functionality to the existing products
Assisting in the development and documentation of design standards
The Professional
Ideally educated to HND level or higher, you will have advanced skills in the design of engaging and interactive eLearning products. You will have experience of Adobe Flash with ActionScript, Photoshop and Illustrator along with CSS, HTML and XML programming skills. You will have a proven track record in instructional design and the specification of eLearning products along with an excellent portfolio of graphic design, illustration, animations and screen design.
