Windows Deployment Specialist (Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)), SMS 2003, Cheshire, 32-40k plus excellent benefits - My High profile Global Financial services Client seeks a Windows Deployment Specialist - SCCM, SMS 2003 to be responsible for the deployment of changes to their new ATM Refresh estate using Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager 2007 (SCCM). Key accountabilities: -You will be involved in the deployment of changes to the new ATM Refresh estate using Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager 2007 (SCCM) -You will work across a range of platforms and provide exposure to leading edge distribution technology in a high profile environment that is critical to the core business -You will also be responsible with the creation of deployment wrappers within SCCM, perform regular systems patching of managed SCCM clients, create/ amend operational aspects of the packaging processes -You will be responsible for the effective SCCM Client management for the ATMR estate -You will perform SCCM Client and Site management for other SCCM environments, such as non-production environments and also perform daily, weekly and monthly operating procedures on the managed environments to ensure healthy site status -Be responsible for maintaining a close working relationship with all clients (business areas, build teams and other support teams). Essential requirements: -You would have gained extensive experience with SMS 2003 AND/ OR System Center Configuration Manager 2007 administration and software deployment -You will be well versed with Windows Server 2003 administration, Tivoli Software Package Editor, managing/ supporting Windows XP systems, Active Directory administration / design and VB scripting. -Successful candidates will also be familiar with the capabilities of major programming languages and be able to identify major activities associated with application deployment -Experience of SQL Server database support, relation database languages and ITIL is also a pre requisite.
