Project Quantity Surveyor - Groundwork's packages
A Project Quantity Surveyor is required by a prestigious Sub Contractor based in the Hertfordshire area to work on a range of civils based projects specifically on the groundwork's side
Location:
Hertfordshire
Remuneration:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
My client also offers an attractive Company benefit package which includes:

The Role:
You will be working as a Project Quantity Surveyor on a wide range of groundwork's schemes including Roads, Sewers, Swales, Culverts, Roundabouts, Pumping Stations, Apartments, drainage & external works.
Project values can span from small works of £300,000 up to £10million projects.
Typical work undertaken at present is valued at circa £8million.
The Client:
My client is a successful Hertfordshire based sub-contractor specialising in multi-disciplinary Groundwork's and Civil projects across the commercial, residential and retail sectors.
They have a healthy annual turnover of £75 Million, which is on course to expand throughout 2009 / 2010 due to a healthy portfolio of projects
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining a company who are dedicated to employee retention and can claim to have one of the most loyal workforces in the South of England.

Requirement:
Groundwork's experience is essential
Sub Contractor experience is a must
ideally 6+ years Quantity Surveying experience
BSc/ HND in Quantity Surveying is desirable but not essential
the experience to run projects with minimal supervision.
