Analyst/ Developer VFP, SQL: Medium sized, niche market IT organisation is currently recruiting for an Analyst/ Developer in their Kent based offices. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will provide support to the maintenance and development of in house applications, working directly with stakeholders to analyse business needs. You will be responsible for:
• Programming and developing new and updated applications
• Providing development and systems documentation
• Supporting existing applications
• Working within ISO9001 standards
The ideal candidate will possess a complementary IT related degree and possess existing experience in the development field. Specifically, candidates must have experience of development in Visual Fox Pro, knowledge of SQL and have demonstrable experience in an environment which involves requirement gathering. As this could often involve client interaction, the successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be flexible with travel and enjoy a business focused/ team orientated culture. Although initially temporary, there are excellent prospects for a permanent position and good long term prospects.
