A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Java Developer to work with one of the premiere advertising agency based in West Midlands to join their dynamic team.
I am looking for an experienced Developer with a strong skill set who wants to take the next step in their career. For the right person, this position offers good scope for career development, as well as the chance to work on an exciting range of projects.
As a Java Developer you will be responsible for web development, liaising with account handlers and designers to help take client briefs and convert them into a practical website specification. You will be working on a range of client websites.
To be considered for this position you must have commercial Java web development experience and the following:
1) Experience with Java and JSP
2) An understanding of the issues surrounding usability and accessibility
3) Excellent communication skills
4) A desire to develop and learn new skills.
Experience of other programming languages such as .Net and PHP would be advantageous but not essential along with AJAX, MVC and knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).
