C#/ ASP.NET/ SQL
Location - Bristol
Salary - Excellent
As a C#/ ASP.NET Software Developer you will take a hands-on development role on
projects as part of an Agile development team. You will typically be working as part of a
multi-skilled team including project management, business analyst, test and creative design
team members.
You will get an opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies on enterprise scale
systems, with some unique problems of security and scalability to solve. In return, you will be
fully supported to gain Microsoft certification.
Your primary responsibilities will be to:
·Take a hands on development role on projects, writing code, testing your code, and
bug fixing your code
·Provide technical input to the project team
·Support the Lead Developer in technically designing the project solution
·Provide estimates for your work
·Work with other members of the team (including business analysts, testers etc.) in an
Agile development environment
·Work towards Microsoft certification to support S-cool's Microsoft Partnership
Experience:
The following skills are required:
·Demonstrate a good practical knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies,
specifically:
o .NET 2.0
o ASP.NET using C# in Visual Studio.NET
o SQL Server 2000 and 2005 design and development
o XML, XSLT, Web Services
·Team working skills
·An understanding of the project life-cycle
