Senior SQL/ XML Developer
The position offers you the opportunity to capitalize upon your existing expertise in order to help
drive core business engine development of the worlds leading software solution for Fund of
Hedge Fund accounting and portfolio management. As a member of a team of highly skilled
developers equally knowledgeable in software-engineering and fund of fund business you will
substantially contribute to the rapid functionality extension of our business solution suite.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Owner of a business domain.
· Requirements analysis
· Verification of detail product specifications
· Design of core database engine enhancements and new features
· Implementation in SQL / XML / XQuery
· Building on and extending Database-Framework extensions
· Reporting to the Head of Database Engineering.
In order to secure this position, candidates should have the following background:
· Experience in a financial environment preferably in the alternative investment area
· Experience in database design
· Experience in SQL (preferably MS-SQL Server) and XML development
· Java knowledge is a plus
· Strong Communication skills
· Strong Problem / Business Analysis skills
· Customer oriented problem solving attitude
· English, fluently spoken and written
· Strong team player
· Self organising abilities
· German and/ or French (both spoken) is a plus
